Specializing in Diamonds, Antique & Estate Jewelry since 1906

OUR STORY

Our journey began in 1906, when Bernard Nacht started his business in Lower Manhattan. His formula for success continues today, 117 years later, as a fourth generation business, buying and selling diamonds and jewelry to the trade. Under the Crown® is a collection of antique, vintage and estate diamonds and jewelry.

We act as a valuable resource to dealers, stores and designers around the globe. We embrace the hunt for fresh and unique treasures to be reloved and reimagined in today's world. We look forward to our next treasure hunt with you.

Simply Engaging®

Our collection of pre-owned, one-of-a-kind period engagement rings. Rings include styles and motifs from the Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco, Retro and Modern eras.

The Crown Jubilee®

Our proprietary diamond and gemstone cut using reclaimed antique and pre-loved stones. These table-less stones have floral facets, which come to a subtle point at the top of the stone. Each stone is graded by the GIA and is accompanied with a GIA Diamond Report.

Time For Elegance®

Our collection of pre-owned watches, including Patek Phillipe, Rolex, Cartier, Audemars Piquet, Blanc Pain, Boucheron, Omega, Hamilton, Vacheron, plus other unbranded watches from all periods.

Timeless Diamonds®

Often, diamonds are not set in their original mountings. A diamond in a ring can predate the setting; family heirlooms are often reset into a different or more modern setting. For example, an old mine cut diamond from 1880 could be reset in a 1950’s fishtail mounting.

DocuJewel®

DocuJewel® is a document containing a detailed description, history and photograph of each Under the Crown® product. The document is an important point of sales reference that helps provide sales associates with an accurate description of each piece of jewelry from our collection and assures the integrity of each piece of jewelry to the customer.

Castellani®

Throughout the mid to late 1800s, Fortunato Pio Castellani created jewels with Ancient Etruscan themes, which emulated the Etruscans from the early years of the Roman Empire (dating back to 300B.C). All items are original Castellani® designs, which include the Castellani® name plate (back-to-back C hallmark inside a diamond shape).

Carlo Giuliano® Jewellery

A famous jeweler from the late 1800s who worked for Castellani. He moved to London, England where he opened up his own business. He is famous for his enamel jewels and craftsmanship.
